My artistic rationale

The main strategy behind my visual approach is to produce something bright and fun that will make people smile and show off the humour and character I put into my work. I think it is important to include diverse representations in my art. I hope to attract clients who will be interested in the production of book and magazine illustration, particularly that which requires a comic style. I normally work in pen and ink illustrations enhanced digitally using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to add colour and arrange the work, though I also dabble in photography and mixed media, as with the piece to the left.
